Pork bone-in shoulder/butt was $0.99 a pound so we got two. When it’s time to smoke meat, it’s helpful to fill it up. I’m going to do one with a half and half salt and pepper mix while the other is a pork rub (sweet and spicy) I wanted to use up. After they are wrapped and back on the smoker, I will add two chickens that were $0.97 a pound. They are about 5-6 pounds each and will be for dinner and meals for the rest of the week.
Will make stock later from everything.
